Lost Rites Entry Guide

Lost Rites is the gentler Dark Arisen entry route: review-build coverage places its recommendation around level 20 and describes its dungeons as an early-to-mid-game equipment path. Use it before Norgan if your party needs a controlled gear step rather than immediate cold-weather pressure.
Version: Dark Arisen release preparation / review build · Location scope: Vermund · Updated: 2026-10-08
  1. Treat level 20 as a recommendation, not an access promise or difficulty guarantee.
  2. Bring a balanced party that can handle a dungeon without relying on Norgan-specific Thermal gear.
  3. Leave inventory room for equipment; the purpose of this route is progression loot rather than the Norgan relic loop.
  4. Save irreversible upgrade spending until you compare the rewards with your current build.

The known distinction matters: Lost Rites are dungeons placed through Vermund, while Norgan is the frozen northern region used by Forsaken Dominion. Do not follow Norgan weather instructions as if they were confirmed requirements for every Lost Rite.

Switch from Lost Rites preparation to the Norgan start route when your party is near the higher recommendation, its core equipment roles are covered, and you have a cold plan. Entering the north changes the loop: unappraised relics must be brought back to the Norgandian Settlement, and weather can pressure stamina and navigation.

The complete dungeon count, individual entrances, boss roster, repeatability rules and reward tables require launch evidence. Public pre-release reporting has not been treated as enough to publish exact route coordinates. Use in-game quest text and the current build for access conditions until those facts can be checked repeatedly.

After moving north, use the cold survival guide and relic expedition guide.
